Langeveldt and Shukla knock defending champions out

A terrific match all the same and credit to Rajasthan for making Kolkata sweat over a small total. The hero of the day is undoubtedly Shukla who steered his side home under pressure. Let's not forget his contribution with the ball, though he didn't get a wicket.
Rajasthan have been unpredictable throughout the tournament. Their blow-hot-blow-cold performance reminds me of Pakistan - pathetic one day, brilliant the next. At least, the old Pakistan.
Kolkata will fly back home with something to smile about, having beaten Chennai and Rajasthan. Heads may roll in their current setup and lets hope they turn a new leaf next year.
We have Chennai v Punjab coming up very shortly. Stay on. Since I have to start the next game I will not be able to bring you the presentation. Cheers guys!

It was a strange game that saw the defending champions knocked out in an uncharaceteristic fashion. A sense of claustrophobia was in the air. The future strangled Rajasthan; the past threatened to haul in Kolkata
