Yuvraj Singh's breezy cameo made the difference. India were dawdling along after Dhoni struggled to get going after promoting himself to no 3. Enter Yuvraj. By the time he left, he had pushed India to a strong total. Then Pragyan Ojha bowled a superb spell to finish the job.
Ashraful: We had two partnerships at the top but didn't have anything after that. Yuvraj batted really well. We bowled and fielded well. 20 runs too many in the end I think. We are a good side. If we play well we can win against Ireland.
Dhoni: It was a professional performance. We were struck in the middle when myself and Gautam were batting. We knew that the spinners would do well on this track. It was justified by our bowlers. Yusuf bowled well and after that Ojha and Harbhajan did the job for us. We have to improve in certain areas like new-ball and in the end. Yuvraj played a brilliant innings. At that mark, we (gambhir and I) were trying to hit but couldn't .. Rohit also played well.
Man of the Match Pragyan Ojha: "It was cold out there. I have played club cricket in England. It's a great feeling to play in this Indian team. It was a memorable debut {t20) for me and I would remember it for a long time."
That's it from us. Thanks for logging on today.
