9.45pm: Let's hear from the captains, starting with Kathryn Bryce: [Emotions] "Pretty high, we did a lot of good things, excited to see how we tried to chase it down. Everyone came in with intent to try and chase. [Fielding errors] Ground fielding was exceptional in our first game, but we were poor today. Pretty costly. Something to learn from, with the sun coming down, so a learning experience as well. [Batting] Really pleased, the way Darcey and Katherine have opened has set the tone and that's been fantastic, set us up well for big totals. [NZ next] Really excited, couple of close games, so if we go out with the same intent and do a few things better hopefully we can get a win on the board."

Charlie Dean: "We could have been more clinical with the ball. But a score like that put us in a fantastic position. Scotland came out swinging and played well, but the win is what we wanted. [Captaincy] Enjoyed it today, having a bigger total to defend. The girls were good. Wanted to bowl better, if I'm honest, but it went well. [Big scores] It's massive for our batters to get those totals. We know scores are getting bigger and bigger. Brilliant pitch, so for the girls to finish off there at the back end was pleasing. [WI and NZ to come] Tournament cricket is about winning the game in front of you. Brilliant to get three wins, but take every game as it comes."

Right, that's that from the Women's T20 World Cup today. Australia went big, Bangladesh put the strangle on, and England kept the Auld Enemy at arm's length in the evening sunshine. Valkerie Baynes' report is on its way, and we'll have plenty more to come, with another double-header tomorrow - including a tasty clash between India and South Africa. Be sure to join us for that. Thanks for your comments, from myself and Harshith, it's goodnight. Bye!

9.40pm: Here's a nice stat from Hypocaust: "That was the fifth-highest match runs aggregate for a women's T20I played on the island of Great Britain. Combined with the record crowd of 11,419, that feels like a landmark evening for women's cricket in the UK. Hope it leads to bigger and better."

9.35pm: The Scots had their moments, but England brushed them aside in the final analysis. A chase of 200 always looked unlikely, after England's power-hitting duo of Kemp and Gibson ransacked Scotland through the back end. The Scotland openers got off to a good start, and most of the batters gave a good account of themselves... but England's attack kept a lid on things, aided by regular breakthroughs

Player of the Match is Sophia Dunkley: "Great to get out there. Found it tricky, they bowled well up front. Great to get the win. [Replacing NSB] Tournament cricket, all 15 are important, you try to stay ready on the sidelines. Nice to contribute and get the two points. As a batting group we communicate well, we know our strengths. Amazing to see Gibbo and Kemp whacking it at the end to get up to 200."
