Commentator: Rashad Mahbub

Be sure to stay with us for all the cricket action happening around the world. Until next time, this is Rashad Mahbub signing off on behalf of my colleagues Rvel Zahid, Ahsan Iftikhar Nagi, Danyal Rasool, the scoring team, and the rest of the ESPNcricinfo crew. PSL Season 11 is officially done and dusted. We'll see you next year! Goodnight, goodbye and go well!

Babar Azam now receives the trophy as the Zalmi players gather on the podium to celebrate under a night sky lit by fireworks and pure joy. Peshawar Zalmi have secured their second PSL title, bringing a bittersweet conclusion to the debut season of the Hyderabad Kingsmen. That's a wrap on Pakistan Super League Season 11. It has been a pleasure bringing you all the action here at ESPNcricinfo. This season had it all: major upsets, nail-biting thrillers, one-sided contests and moments of individual brilliance, all captured across two venues. We've seen incredible talent emerge during this fascinating month of cricket. I'll certainly miss the anthem, which is still buzzing in my ears! As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

Babar Azam: "[Team achievement] It's a very big achievement for me and for Peshawar Zalmi and all the fans. Throughout the tournament we've performed really well as a team. We enjoyed our cricket. Every player executed the plans they were given in batting, bowling, and fielding. Our plan was to go match by match. Thank god we won today. [Role of the management] Management in every match discussion took out the positives and we focused on that. We went match by match, planning every game right after the last. We played back to back games. We played four games in six days. But we were determined to give our best. [Batting form] My own form I wanted to get that back. In this PSL I tried to give my best and thankfully I could."

12:48 am The Champion's cheque has been presented to the owner of Peshawar Zalmi. Led by Coach Ottis Gibson, the squad is now stepping up to receive their winner's medals. Babar Azam also receives the winner's cheque on behalf of the team as the rest of the players line up for the medal ceremony.

Udam: "felt mendis earned player of the tournament with that impact but glad for moqim"

Marnus Labuschagne: "A few things didn't go our way. As a batting group, we probably left a few runs out there. We showed once again that belief in the side and what we can do, putting them four for 40, but just not enough runs on the board tonight. [How do you reflect on the season?] I think tonight hurts, obviously, but reflecting on what an amazing tournament we've put together, coming from four losses to winning four in a row, getting bowled out for 80 then winning by 100, and then winning two games to get into the final; we've made so many great memories. I'm just so proud of the team; it's been an awesome effort. [Thoroughly enjoyed the captaincy role] I really did. I was excited about the opportunity to challenge myself in a different environment, and I've enjoyed getting to know the players, owners, and support staff. It's exciting to see what this team built in such a short period, and hopefully, there are some really amazing things to come."

12:40 am The Hyderabad Kingsmen coaching staff and players are now lining up to collect their Runners-Up medals, following their team owner's receipt of the Runners-Up cheque from PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. Led by Coach Jason Gillespie, the team is stepping up to receive their medals, with Marnus Labuschagne also accepting a cheque on behalf of the squad.

Player of the Tournament, Sufyan Moqim: "My individual performance was good, and so was the team's. [Bowling to Usman] The situation in which I bowled my first over, Usman Khan was batting. I knew I had to get him out because he's been playing beautifully in both domestic and PSL. And he plays spin well, but I knew I am also a good spinner, so I got him out. I have worked very hard on my bowling. It was written in the stars for me to be named the best bowler, and I'm very happy with it. Individual awards are very important for a player."

Player of the Match, Aaron Hardie: "[How has this debut season been?] Yeah, it's been great. Everyone involved; all the players, coaching staff, owners, and directors, I couldn't have had a better start to my PSL journey. I'm super grateful to be part of Zalmi and to get to know everyone. We've had great fun and, obviously, a really successful season. [Experience to grow as a person and as a player] Absolutely. I've spent a fair bit of time in the subcontinent but haven't played too much, so to be able to come over here and get a nice run into the finals has been awesome. Thanks to the coaching staff for trusting me with the game time. To be able to learn from legends of the game in our team and fellow players who have done so well in these conditions has been a great learning curve. I've thoroughly enjoyed it."

12:20 am It's time for the post-match presentations. We begin with the umpires and the match referee, who are being awarded their medals. The PSL Moment of the Match trophy is awarded to Michael Bracewell for his clinical run-out of Kusal Perera. The Energetic Batter of the Match award goes to Abdul Samad for his impactful 48 runs off 34 balls. The award for the Most Boundaries of the Match goes to Aaron Hardie for his nine fours, while Kusal Mendis earns the Catch of the Match for his diving effort to dismiss Hassan Khan. The Smart Wicket of the Match award is presented to Aaron Hardie for the crucial dismissal of Marnus Labuschagne, while Nahid Rana takes home the Super Power of the Match honors.

Nahid Rana: "I really enjoy it. Last year I came but I didn't play. This year I came and I really enjoyed it. I just tried to execute my plan and give an impactful performance to help my team. I executed my performance well, so I'm happy."

Aaron Hardie: "Great game. I mean, it was just a great game of cricket. Really. Kingsmen came out of the blocks really hard. They've certainly had a lot of momentum from the last couple of games and they carried that in, but I'm really proud of the way the boys were able to fight back. They had a great power play, and we were certainly expecting to, at one point, chase quite a big total. So credit to the boys who have done it the whole tournament. Sufyan came in and got some big wickets. This boy came back and bowled rockets again. We're stoked with the result and super proud of all the boys. [How good is Nahid Rana] Yeah, absolutely. I mean, he came off the plane three days ago and still bowled fast today. When he was up and running in Karachi bowling 151, it was horrible for the batsmen. I know he's got Test cricket in a week; I know Babar is not looking forward to facing him. So there's a friendly rivalry there. I can see him traveling around and playing in any competition around the world; they would welcome someone of his caliber. Very excited for him."

Iftikhar Ahmed: "[Two trophies won for Zalmi] I was there in 2017 as well and at that time we had a very strong team. This time I think the team that has been built is excellent. In my opinion, the credit goes to the team owners and management for the way they have created the combination. We have fast bowlers, strong middle-order batters, a solid top order and finishers as well. When you have such balance in your squad and all your key areas are covered, your chances of qualifying and becoming champions are very high."

Ali Raza: "[Overall performance] Alhamdulillah, it's all because of my hard work. I also give a lot of credit to the PCB for the way they handled my rehab. The doctors and staff at the PCA supported me really well, worked with me quickly, and gave me confidence. [Support from coaches and seniors] The bowling coaches have helped me a lot. I've also been working with Azhar Bhai and Akram Bhai, which feels really good. I especially want to give credit to Amir Bhai and Haris Bhai. I talked to them during the tournament. Mohammad Asif also gave me a special tip, and Muhammad Zahid supported me as well. They all backed me and said they enjoyed my bowling, noting it's a good sign for Pakistan. When such legends support and appreciate you, it makes things much easier and gives you a lot of confidence. The key is to believe in your hard work and keep at it. Inshallah, things will keep getting better."

Michael Bracewell: "It's hard to put into words at the moment, beautiful feeling. Obviously, the way Hardie batted out there was outstanding. It's been an amazing comp the whole way through. Everyone stepped up at different times, and it feels like a real team win. Someone's given you a busted lip as well. It's part of the course, don't even feel that. [What's Gibson's like as a coach?] It's been brilliant. The whole coaching staff complemented each other really well; different styles that gelled. I think it showed in our performance. We were able to keep consistency through the team and in our performance as well, which is outstanding. I think we'd be remiss not to mention the crowd tonight. Obviously, it was a little bit unfortunate not having crowds throughout the tournament, but to have an amazing crowd like tonight, and how loud it was, certainly makes it very special."

Peshawar Zalmi Coach, Ottis Gibson: "Look, from the start, we sat down and decided how we wanted to play and approach the tournament. I have to give a lot of credit to the players for the way they've approached it. We've only lost one game and have been consistent the whole way through. Tonight we put ourselves under some pressure in the power play, but we know we've got enough batting depth that we can go and win like we've done tonight. It's been an outstanding team effort from everybody. I'm so pleased and proud for the ownership of the franchise. We haven't won it for a long time, so this is a big moment for us. [Worried about the batting collapse?] No, not really. Maybe frustrated more than worried because I know how well we've batted in the tournament, and that wasn't a typical Zalmi batting performance. But like I said, I knew we had quality players in the middle that could do the job. We just made it harder for ourselves. We got there in the end, and it's very pleasing. [Sum up Babar Azam and what he means to this crowd] Look, he's amazing. He's bought into everything we've been talking about; the way he's playing and taking responsibility for the team. He's got two hundreds in the tournament and over 500 runs. Fantastic captain. He listens well and understands how we are trying to approach the game. He's obviously just box office for this crowd to come in and see him tonight. He made hundreds when there was nobody in, so it's a shame he didn't get runs tonight so the crowd would go home happy. I hope they'll still go home happy because we've won the tournament, and I think we fully deserve it."

Abdul Samad: "[Role as a finisher] I'm really enjoying it. As a finisher, that's my job in the team. The management has given me this role. Today after quite some time, I got the opportunity because I wasn't getting much of a chance to bat earlier. I was trying to make sure that whenever I got the chance, I should finish the game for my team. Unfortunately, I got out on 48, but it still felt very good, Alhamdulillah. [Staying ready mentally] Yes, it was good because players like Kusal Mendis and Babar were scoring most of the runs in the tournament. I had to keep myself mentally ready for crunch moments. When I came in, four wickets had already fallen. I was confident, and I told Musaddiq Bhai that I would go in. He told me to think about it, but I said I'll go and do it. [Journey with Zalmi] It has been great. This is my second year; the first one was also very good, and this year has been even better. We have won so it feels really good."

Shayan: "To be fair @Om, The game was pretty interesting when Bracewell fell, but Samad and Hardie killed the game off."

Mohd Irshad : "With all the fightbacks throughout the season by Kingsman, Zalmi is truly a deserving winner. Would have been Heartbreaking to loose in final after having a nearly perfect leagues stage"

Om: "Dang, after the previous 3 PSL finals have been last over classics this one was more one sided nevertheless a deserving winner in Peshawar Zalmi! "

11:50 pm What a final. What a match. This game was a constant seesaw that kept the pendulum swinging until the very end, except for the last few overs. Fairytales are written and records are broken, but not every story finds the brightest conclusion. It was a dream start for the Kingsmen, with Mohammad Ali sending both openers back to the hut in the very first over. In the second over, Mendis survived a run-out scare by the barest of margins. Hardie and Mendis then took responsibility, finding a few boundaries to ease the mounting pressure. Hunain dismissed Mendis in the fourth over to leave the game finely balanced, but when Bracewell was dismissed by Akif in the fifth over, the match turned on its head once more. Despite being 53-4 in the powerplay, Hardie kept the boundaries flowing and the scoreboard moving. Samad and Hardie then built a decisive partnership, with Hardie reaching his fifty off 35 deliveries. Samad eventually departed for 48 off 34 balls, ending an 85-run stand that did the majority of the damage and effectively took the game away from the Kingsmen. Hardie remained unbeaten on 56 off 39 balls to see them home. Mohammad Ali claimed three wickets, but it ultimately wasn't enough for his team to defend such a small total. The Zalmi players are marching all around the field, waving to the fans and celebrating amidst a massive atmosphere in Lahore. Babar Azam has been hoisted onto the shoulders of his teammates and is being carried around the ground now.

Hunain Shah to Farhan Yousaf, FOUR, As the Pakistan Under-19 skipper tucks away the winning runs, a nine-year wait officially comes to an end; Peshawar Zalmi are champions once again! The Yellow Storm has returned to the summit, reclaiming the throne through a clinical, all-round team performance. While top-order stalwarts like Babar Azam and Kusal Mendis fell early in this high-stakes moment, Aaron Hardie rose to the occasion. Following a stellar shift with the ball, he arrived at the crease under immense pressure and immediately counterattacked, never looking troubled. Samad also played a vital role with his effortless six-hitting and crisp cover drives, displaying the class of a team that remained favorites throughout the tournament. For the Kingsmen, their fairytale run finally reaches its conclusion here today. It was a widish length ball down the leg-side from Hunain, Yousaf walks across and helps it away through fine leg for a boundary. The Zalmi players are rushing toward the center of the pitch to celebrate as the stadium lights dim to make way for a spectacular fireworks display. It is an incredible moment for the fans in a packed Lahore stadium and a night to remember for every Zalmi player and supporter!
