The South African Rugby Union (SARU) has appointed ASICS as their new kit manufacturer.
The six-year deal runs from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2019, taking in the Rugby World Cups of England 2015 and Japan - the birthplace of ASICS - in 2019.
"This deal with leading sports performance brand ASICS is a huge coup for SARU, and one we're very excited about," said SARU chief executive Jurie Roux.
Roux said the new ASICS-designed playing apparel would only be revealed later in the year. It will make its first appearance in action in next year's HSBC World Sevens Series event in the USA in January.
