Serevi to bow out at World Cup

Fijian legend Waisale Serevi has announced he will bow outof the game after the World Cup.

Serevi, 34, will have appeared at three World Cups aswell as three Sevens World Cup, leading Fiji to the title in 1997.

The 'wizard' who has starred on the 7s circuit for the majority of his career found fame in the shortened version of the game as opposed to the 15-a-side format.

"I think this will be my last tournament because age is catching up with me," he told Fiji TV. "This year we might be able to go beyond the quarter finals," he said, adding he expected to play a key role in the competition.

Serevi made his Test debut in 1989 against Belgium and has so far appeared 37 times for his country scoring 216 points.

Flyhalf Serevi currently plays his club rugby in France for Stade Montois.
