Western Force squad reaches 10

The Western Force's inaugural squad for the expanded 2006 Super 14 competition is coming together, with the club's signings now up to 10.

Waratahs hooker Brendan Cannon and Reds second-rower Nathan Sharpe were the first signings, and it was also announced earlier this week that Cannon's New South Wales teammate Lachlan McKay has also committed to move to Western Australia.

Now The Daily Telegraph has reported that the Force have 10 players on their books, with seven others - five of whom have played Super 12 in Australia - also part of the squad.

Reds Junior Pelesasa, Luke Doherty, Tai McIsaac, Rudi Vedelago and Richard Brown, Sydney-based James Hilgendorf (Taranaki) and former Brumby David Pusey (Munster) are the other seven.

The Force are also waiting to hear back from Brumbies reserve halfback Matt Henjak and Sydney University back-rower Tim Davidson, who have received offers but are yet to decide whether to accept.
