11.40pm The points table is looking juicier by the minute. A great way to finish off this day of double-headers. Some nervy moments for GT, but in the end, they stay in contention this season. PBKS will go back to the drawing board and take a deeper look at their bowlers once more. But for now, they stay top of the table too. Good night from everyone at ESPNcricinfo, and see you tomorrow for more IPL cricket!

And now, time for the post-match presentation.

Shubman Gill:"Would have liked to not take it as deep as we did. But two points! We always knew this is not the kind of wicket where we can chase it in 15-16 overs. If someone is set, they should go deep. Length balls weren't coming. Important for the batter who was set: lucky for us, Washy finished it off. It was all about the kind of situation we are in, and the best batter [on sending out left-handers, one after another]."

Jason Holder is Player of the Match for his 4 for 24. "Credit to both Siraj and KG. Their efforts have been outstanding. Makes my job easier, coming in the middle. Having said that, still need to come and execute. Main thing is to keep pressure on. Ensure you make it difficult for them to score. Talked long in dressing room. I mean, last year and half, only played T20 cricket. Would still love to play Test cricket, but able to focus on T20 cricket. Ensures I'm ready for all situations. For me, executing when called upon. Disappointed not able to finish last two games. But keeping fresh mind, staying positive, execute when called upon... Try to make an impact, best as I can under pressure."

Washington Sundar: "I mean we had to be little calculative on the wicket. Can't get boundaries off good, hard-length balls. Play the field really well and get boundaries now and then. Worked out today. I mean, Arshad bats really well, I was just asking him to enjoy the moment and back his strengths. Boundaries he hit earlier in the over paid off really well. [On left-handers] Not sure, was just focused on the chance today. They didn't really bowl spinners."

Shreyas Iyer speaks, a little dejected. "I personally thought it was a great score. New ball was doing a bit at the start. Their bowlers made best use of the surface, way they were hitting the deck. We lost four wickets in the powerplay, just to get to 160 from there was a phenomenal effort. With the new ball, I thought we would be able to hit line and length and be accurate and get wickets, but didn't work out. Kudos to the effort: attitude and approach. We missed on hitting the hard lengths, I think. Hitting over midwicket wasn't easy on this wicket, there was variable bounce. In terms of execution, we fell short. We're still top of the table, we'll take positives from that.... Shows the character of the bowlers, wanted to win, didn't click today. Excited for the opportunity [in Hyderabad next]. Boys putting in hard yards. If the character is high, attitude is right, results will come eventually."

11.20pm Gujarat Titans have huffed, and puffed, and then almost stuffed it up. But in the end, they cross the finish line thanks to Washington Sundar holding his nerve! There are four teams on 12 points now. The IPL, with this result, has suddenly come alive. Gujarat Titans took a steady approach to their chase rather than exploding in the middle overs, and that almost came back to bite them. But in the end, the amazing bowling effort earlier in the evening - headlined by Jason Holder's four-for - meant GT were always the favourites to wrap this up. Phew, whaddachase.

Stoinis to Washington Sundar, SIX, And Washington has wrapped it up like only he can! Stoinis tries the yorker once more, but he lobs up a juicy full toss on the stumps. Washington drops to one knee and lobs this down to deep fine leg. Relieved faces in the GT dugout, heartbreak writ all over Stoinis' face. His plans were a little all over the place, but in the end, what matters for GT is that they've squeezed out 11 runs from a thrilling final over

Stoinis to Arshad Khan, 1 run, It's all happening here! Absolutely picture-perfect yorker, and squeezed into his pads. Stoinis runs in to collect, throws it to the non-striker's. Misses. A dive from Arshad ensures he can't get back up to attempt a second

Amnah: "Can Stoinis do a Hunain Shah here?"

Stoinis to Arshad Khan, no run, Oooo, now he's finally gone for the line that has worked for PBKS in these death overs. Back of a length, kept outside off, and Arshad swings at fresh air

2
Stoinis to Arshad Khan, 2 runs, Shidge pulls off a Superman dive to keep this game alive! Was another full ball right on the pads, deserved to be put away. Flicked towards a vacant deep backward point but Shidge's dive saves two

Sheela: "Is it going to be SUPER OVER?" - That four should ease GT nerves...

Stoinis to Arshad Khan, FOUR, Arshad has squeezed this one away! Stoinis lands it right in the blockhole but it's right in front of the pads. Arshad flicks this to deep fine leg, which is lying empty with the fielder stationed way deeper inside

Stoinis to Arshad Khan, 1 wide, Shorttt, too short! And that's one run struck off for Stoinis to defend. Sailed well over the batter's head

How have GT brought it down to 11 off the final six... PBKS will be delighted to stretch this chase out. Now to see which way this game goes

Sanjeev : "Is GT snatching Defeat from the jaws of victory??"
